The Solana Mobile ecosystem is growing fast.
There are now over 100k power users exploring apps through the Solana dApp Store, and builders are shipping everything from games to dev tools to entirely new kinds of mobile crypto experiences. dApps that launch on Seeker can see their first ten to twenty thousand users in weeks.
We just finished up the MONOLITH Hackathon, but we’re still pouring fuel into the ecosystem. To help push things further, we’re continuing to support teams through Solana Mobile Builder Grants.
The idea is simple: give great builders the support they need to ship things that make Seeker better, creatively integrate SKR into their apps, and help scale the Solana Mobile ecosystem.
Funding Builders on Solana Mobile
Solana Mobile primarily supports builders in two ways: Builder Grants and Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
Builder Grants are open to teams experimenting with new ideas for Seeker and the broader Solana Mobile ecosystem.
RFPs are more targeted. From time to time we publish specific ideas or gaps we’d like to see teams build around, whether that’s developer tooling, new mobile primitives, or experiences that push the Seeker ecosystem forward. The current list of Solana Mobile RFPs can be found here.
Both exist to help great builders ship things that make Seeker better.
How to Apply
If you’re interested in building on Seeker and applying for a Solana Mobile Builder Grant, the process is straightforward.
Start by submitting an application outlining what you’re building and how it fits into the Solana Mobile ecosystem. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, and projects that look like a strong fit may be invited to continue the review process with the Solana Mobile team.
When applying, there are a few guidelines teams should keep in mind:
- Your project should be mobile-first, designed specifically for the mobile experience and capable of leveraging native Android features where it makes sense.
- Your application should demonstrate clear use of the Solana Mobile Stack, including integrations like Mobile Wallet Adapter and Seed Vault to create seamless wallet interactions and more secure on-device key management.
- We encourage teams to think about how SKR fits into their product design. Some of the most interesting applications use SKR to power incentives, payments, exclusive experiences, or entirely new participation mechanics for Seeker users.
- Your application should include a clear project scope and milestone timeline, along with a thoughtful explanation of how grant funding will be used.
- Strong teams matter. Successful applicants usually demonstrate a clear ability to execute and a commitment to contributing something meaningful to the broader Solana Mobile ecosystem, whether that's through developer tooling, consumer experiences, or infrastructure. We are also very open to supporting teams that are expanding from Ethereum, EVM chains, Cosmos, Polkadot, Near, Aptos, Sui, or other Layer 1 and Layer 2 ecosystems and want to integrate their product with Solana Mobile — if you've been building elsewhere and see a growth opportunity on Solana, we want to hear from you.

What We’re Looking For
The best grant applications usually have one thing in common: they lean into what makes the Solana Mobile platform different.
We’re especially excited about teams building:
• Apps that feel viral or sticky by default
• Dev tools that unlock more builders on Solana Mobile
• Products that improve the Seeker user experience
• Creative ways to use SKR for payments, incentives, or perks
What we’re not looking for are projects that just want SKR to distribute across an existing user base. The goal of these grants is to support teams building products that actually activate Seeker users.
Builders Wanted
Builder Grants exist to help teams move faster.
Selected teams can receive funding, technical guidance from the Solana Mobile team, and marketing support around launching in the Solana dApp Store. The goal is simple: make it easier for great ideas to reach real users.
Seeker already has a growing global user base exploring what mobile crypto apps can look like, and Builder Grants help teams tap into that momentum.
The program is for builders with strong product instincts. The best apps are often the ones that make someone download them just to try it.
If you’re building something that:
• activates Seeker users
• uses SKR in interesting ways
• experiments with new mobile crypto mechanics
We’d love to see it. Apply here.
Please note: grant applications can take 4-6 weeks or longer to receive a response depending on volume. We appreciate your patience as our team works through each application thoughtfully.
